I'm working on the bedroom design plan for the 9 year old girl's remix it online. They have changed their mind on a couple of things, which is totally normal in any design, so we're modifying as we move along and it will result in a better room in the end! Some dining inspiration for you today. I know that some of the photos I share with you on this blog can be, at times, far removed from where we live day to day, but that's partially the point. Sometimes it's pretty boring to look at rooms that look just like what we or our friends may already have, so the photos are not meant to frustrate you or to make you want things that you can't have (so hopefully that's not the case!) but instead to inspire and encourage you to think outside the box. Maybe you can't afford the specific furniture in the photo, but could you mimic the concept/the colors/the style of the furniture? Or use the color scheme? Or furniture placement? Or use decorative items that you hadn't previously considered in ways that you wouldn't have thought of? Maybe the room is actually within your budget, but it's not even remotely close to your style. Again, think about the questions I've posed above. Think deeper than just a photo glance.
