Hi, my name is, Debby, and it's been a week since I
bought a jacket. Does anyone know of a Jackets
Anonymous meeting I could attend?
For most people it's shoes, for me, I cant' resist a cute
jacket. The other day while cleaning out my closet I
realized how bad my addiction had become. (I also
had to come to grips with the fact that there were
pants I would NEVER fit into again and it's time to let go)!
I am blaming Ann Taylor Loft for having a selection
of stylish and affordable jackets each and every
time I walk by their storefront. They call to me,
come on, don't pretend you don't hear the voices...
"Come just try me on... I would complete your
outfit... you can never have too many... I'm on sale.."
Throw on a jacket, a scarf, some cute earrings
and voila... instant cuteness.
Not only can I not resist the urge to purchase, I can't
part with them... This jean jacket? Not sure what
year I bought it.. 1999? 2000? Come on, it's timeless.
Although, I couldn't tell you the last time I wore it..
not sure it would even fit.
I didn't even show you my sweater jackets or leather
because there was no room on our staircase and I fear
if my husband is reading this he will be tempted to
close all of our credit card accounts.

labels)!
I am condoling myself with the fact that I brought several
bags of perfectly good clothes to Goodwill. Perhaps this
Christmas I should organize a coat drive as opposed to a
toy drive. Maybe my love for jackets should have a bigger
purpose than just filling my closet... hmmm... food for thought.
