Happy Saturday! Today I will be preparing a small
feast for friends of ours who are visiting! After arising
early and lots of coffee, I will be busy in the kitchen
whipping up some favorite dishes. I have learned
through the years to make entertaining as stress free
as possible. I ordered a Willie Bird turkey from
Williams Sonoma. The turkeys are range free, and
fully cooked, and it cuts your work load in half!

The table will be set and the candles will be lit
in preparation for their arrival. My son was the
ring bearer in their wedding and last time the saw him
he was probably 4 or 5. I can't wait to see their faces
when the gaze upon him now! At six feet tall, deepening
voice, adulthood within reach, boyhood soon to be left behind.
They are certainly going to be surprised!

After a quick shower and outfit decision, ( the outfit always has
to be comfortable when I entertain), the finishing touches
will take place.
The food will go in the oven, the right music selected and
the lanterns will be lit and put out near the front entry.
Then I will kick back and relax and enjoy our guests!
