It's my boy's birthday! By "boy" I mean Buddy, my Dachshund. He is 13 today!
{I call him little old man}. I thought I would dedicate a post to the little guy!

Do you have little ones? Have you heard about The Hallo-Wiener written by Dan Pikey? It
was a favorite of ours when my kids were younger. It's about a wiener dog who's Mom buys him
a bun as his Halloween costume, much to his embarrassment. (Yes, I'm guilty of this... and reindeer
antlers too.... whatever... the dog police haven't showed up here yet). Anyways, his "bun" actually becomes a flotation device and he becomes a hero. It's adorable and has a great message.
We love ya, Buddy, even when you run through the field interrupting a soccer game, or when you snag
a Slim Jim right out of a child's hand at the beach, or scratch mercilessly at the cooler near the beach blanket.... good times.
