Tom Ford's Santa Fe Ranch by Tadao Ando.

There's been some talk about the December/January issue of Paris Vogue because Tom Ford was the guest Editor. However, what I am most interested in is the stunning ranch in Santa Fe designed by Tadao Ando for Tom Ford - it makes a showing in this issue. It looks stunning. Hmm, may have to go and buy the magazine now...
You can see some scanned images of the magazine via Design Folio.

Working Girl from Vogue

Is this what I'm supposed to look like when I'm working?
I had a chuckle when I saw this Patrick Demarchelier photo from the Habitually Chic blog. It is from a Vogue editorial of a 'Working Girl'. It's clear that this lady with all her plans and building models is suppose to be an Architect. I know a lot of architects and designers and (although some very stylish) we certainly don't look as relaxed as this...

Of Interest - Vogue

If you have seen 'The September Issue', you may recognise these interiors - the office belongs to Anna Wintour, Vogue Editor and the lobby to the Vogue Magazine offices. I saw the film last night and enjoyed it.
These interiors were done by Carrier and Company, a husband and wife interior design team - read about them here.
Anna Wintour has been regarded as a 'Ice Queen' and is a very powerful woman in the fashion industry. The photograph above her sofa seems rather appropriate for this reputation...maybe she has a sense of humour after all.
