Bell Jars and Cloches

I wrote about 'glass domes' the other week and about how much I liked them (read it here).
Since then, the great Remodelista has put up a posting - and I have learnt that these 'glass domes' are called Bell Jars and Cloches. It seems there is a huge trend to have these in your decor and you can just about display anything in them...

I've always been intrigued by large glass domes - especially when there is something interesting inside them like the above image. They give a 'museum' and European quality to the objects on display.
