Bathroom Storage

I have been looking for some interesting storage pieces for a client's bathroom. The house is rather traditional so I was looking for character pieces. I like this great six drawer cabinet as well as this cool industrial shelving trolley.
Photographs via French Country.
I have had some enquiries about the shelving trolley. It measures at 845mmHx1240mmLx450mmD. If you interested in purchasing, sent me an email!

Inspiration - Bathrooms

I am working on a bathroom and ensuite for a new soon-to-be-built modern house. I found these two images as an inspiration and a starting point. The top image is ideal as it has great storage - which my clients will be needing. The use of black and white is effective, along with the neutral grey on the floors.
I'm impressed by the undermounted basin in the top bathroom - very modern and simple.

Creative Use of Small Spaces

diyideas.com

1. Turn a closet into an office.

Use curtains instead of bi-fold doors. When it's not in use, slide the curtains closed! Using the curtains provides a decorative, as well as functional, element and they don't "intrude" into the space the way bi-fold doors would when opened.

2. Use a window nook for a desk. Notice how they used corbels to support the desk top.

3. Careful planning allows you to get a lot of function from your space. Notice how Amanda has incorporated storage, display, seating and lighting on this wall. Notice, too, that none of this would have to be custom. She used a regular sofa, and you could purchase premade shelving units at whichever price point your budget allows.

New Work - Window Seat

You can't beat a window seat in a sunny spot. This house renovation (with new windows) allowed for a window seat in the Living Room. This created more seating and extra storage with drawers below.
